Spokane Storm Damaged Property

The first photo depicts the rainwater that poured down from a blown off chimney cover. Our SERVPRO team removed the furnishings from several rooms that were damaged by this storm. We suctioned off the water, but the contamination of the liquid through the flue rendered it unsafe. We discarded the carpeting and the pad and dried out the rooms using air movers and heated dehumidifiers. After verifying through the use of sensor meters and infrared cameras the documented results were given to the insurance adjuster. Our full-service company then laid down new carpeting and a vinyl surface to complete the restoration. The chimney damage was also repaired before working on the interior of the house in Spokane.
